Our first design project was to design a project for a late-night light entertainment show on BBC Three. This needed to be a small studio, live production, intended for one anchor person with guests.
DESIGN PROJECTS
For this project we collaborated across the other DFSS courses to create a group of boxes that would be displayed in the Christmas exhibition at Newstead Abbey.
The theme I had to focus on for this project was Victorian Cookery. The aim of this project was to build on my introduction to Design for Film & TV thinking and
process; and fundamental art department skills, such as technical drawing.
This project involved designing a 'Dreamland' for a children's television show and also their bedroom, and displaying how we would transition between the two.
We started off in groups for this project, collectively choosing a suitable location, ours needing to fit with the 1950s film 'A Kind of Loving'. Singularly I then had to adapt the area to fit a specific part of the script.
